Hawaii Colleges and Universities

America's most popular haven for tourists, Hawaii is made up of eight islands, with its main state university campus located in Manoa, a suburb of Honolulu on the island of Oahu. Honolulu, the state capital, has more than 375 thousand residents and is the cultural and entertainment mecca of the islands. Hilo, on the island of Hawaii, is the second largest city in the state. The islands are ringed with stunning beaches, have active volcanoes, and are host to recreational delights including scuba, snorkeling, sailing, fishing, and hiking.

In addition to the main campus in Manoa, the University of Hawaii has college branches in Hilo and west Oahu. The state also has a network of seven community colleges, along with branches of Brigham Young University-Hawaii Campus and Chaminade University of Honolulu.
