Mission Statement
The University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC) offers undergraduate, master?s and doctoral programs in the arts and sciences and engineering. Within a strong interdisciplinary framework, UMBC programs link the cultures of the sciences, social sciences, visual and performing arts and humanities, and the professions. UMBC is a dynamic public research university integrating teaching, research, and service to benefit the citizens of Maryland.
