Mission Statement

Mission Statement "Pioneer Pacific College is uncompromisingly dedicated to helping people improve their lives through high-quality, college-level, career education." To accomplish this mission, the following objectives have been adopted: • To offer a curriculum that teaches students the academic, technical, and interpersonal skills necessary for entrylevel employment and future advancement in their chosen career field. • To maintain an environment that encourages the ethical standards, self-discipline, professionalism, and spirit of cooperation necessary to function effectively in society. • To encourage an appetite for learning in students, faculty, administrators and staff, and to cultivate an appreciation for life-long learning. In order to achieve these objectives, Pioneer Pacific College: • Forecasts the changing career requirements of the business community and revises programs and curriculum to meet these needs. • Teaches up-to-date technologies on modern equipment. • Uses computers extensively in all career programs. • Focuses on practical hands-on instructional methods and competency based teaching and assessment methods.
