As one of the colleges of the Alamo Community College District, St. Philip's College fosters the stated mission of the District and expresses this commitment through the following mission: St. Philip's College, founded in 1898, is a comprehensive, public community college whose mission is to provide a quality educational environment which stimulates leadership, personal growth, and a lifelong appreciation for learning.
