Vancouver Colleges and Universities

Vancouver, is located on the Columbia River in Washington state just across from Portland, Oregon and very near the border of the United States and Canada. A charming city made up of all kinds of twentieth-century architecture, Vancouver is widely known for its historic libraries, churches, downtown buildings and even a log cabin. Outside of the gorgeous buildings and around Vancouver colleges and universities stretches 44 miles of trails to hike, parks, and outdoor splendor, including Mount St. Helens and Mt. Hood.

Two major Vancouver colleges and universities are Clark College and Washington State University, Vancouver. Clark College is a junior college granting two-year degrees to more than 11,000 students. WSU Vancouver, with its small student body of about 2500 students, is a four-year university that offers a number of bachelor's, master's and doctorate degrees in more than 35 fields of study.
