Mission Statement

West Virginia Northern Community College's mission is to provide postsecondary educational opportunity for all citizens in the Northern Panhandle's six counties to develop a competent district workforce which can compete in a global economy, and to respond to cultural and civic interests and needs of the communities it serves. To this end, the College is committed to collaboration, coordination, and optimal use of available resources to develop, acquire, and make accessible high quality, low cost programs and services which are responsive to the needs of its citizens and employers of educational and training opportunities, financial assistance, job placement, and through effective, user friendly delivery systems.
